My Story
Anya is 17 years old and lives with her family in Montevideo, Minnesota. She has been writing poems as long as she can remember. Her first book will be released in June of 2024 and she plans to continue releasing more books in the future. She is also an accomplished singer/songwriter. She performs in a number of music venues in and around Montevideo.

IN THE PRESS
Olson will share her first book of poetry with visitors to the Meet and Read event at Java River on June 20th. Her book, "To Convince Myself to Be Alive, Volume One," may not be as dark as it seems. I checked in with Olson and asked her about the title. "(The) poems in this book are about life, love, heartbreak and learning to find reasons to continue even in the darkest of times." she said.
